Some aggrieved Abuja residents, blocked the convoy of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, along Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway, in Abuja, on Tuesday.
According to Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, the FCT residents protested the alleged land takeover by the Military.
The Vice President got down and engaged the people, while proposing to meet with their Leaders, with a view to finding an amicable solution.
“On his way to the Airport just now, VP Osinbajo runs into a group of FCT residents protesting alleged land takeover bid by the Military.
“He gets down, engages the people, proposing to meet with their Leaders on the matter and intervene, with a view to finding an amicable solution”, Laolu Akande wrote on Twitter.
