INEC Office In The North Burnt Down, Evidence Of Buhari, APC’s Massive Rigging, Destroyed, Allegedly

Emerging report indicates that fire has destroyed the Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Gumel Local Government Area, of Jigawa State.

The Nigeria Civil Defence Corps Spokesperson, in the State, Adamu Shehu, confirmed the incident.

The fire incident came at a time when the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, is challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the Presidential Election Tribunal.

A few days ago, Atiku had raised an alarm that INEC is tampering with electoral materials in its custody nationwide, to erase the trace of massive rigging that was perpetrated by Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the just concluded 2019 Presidential election.

While speaking, the Civil Defence Spokesperson revealed that the Office was completely razed down, with everything in it destroyed, including important documents, furniture, generators, electronics, computers, and other working materials.

He maintained that the inferno lasted for about three hours, before it was quenched completely by Security Operatives, including the State Fire Service, men of Security and Civil Defence, and some good members of the community.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is still unknown. No casualty was recorded at as Press time.
