The Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen, was absent from court again, on Tuesday, as the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, resumed hearing of a case of alleged false asset declaration against him.
Recall, that Onnoghen is facing six counts charge of alleged false declaration of assets.
He was first due for arraignment on January 14, but he missed the appearance.
The Code of Conduct Tribunal Chairman, Danladi Umar, then issued Onnoghen another summons, after his Lawyers said that the first summons was not properly served on him.
Umar fixed January 22, for Onnoghen to appear and be docked as the only defendant in the trial, but he was not in court today, when the Tribunal opened.
