The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has taken Doyin Okupe, a former Aide to the immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan, and Chieftain of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, into custody, just ahead of the much awaited 2019 general elections.
According to Okupe, the EFCC Operatives arrived his residence, in Lagos State, on Saturday, and asked him to follow them.
He disclosed the incident via a tweet that read: “EFCC just stormed my house in Ilupeju, Lagos, asking me to follow them. No letter. No letter of IV, no warrant. Saturday!”
