The Publisher of Ovation Magazine and former Presidential Candidate, Dele Momodu, has reacted to the success of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, in securing an American visa.
Before now, Atiku had been restricted from entering America, over issues bordering on corruption, allegedly.
Post-Nigeria reported earlier on Saturday, that the former Vice President had acquired his United States, US, visa, and had even jetted out of Nigeria.
It was learnt that former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, played a “critical” role in getting the American government to issue the visa to his former Vice, with whom he was estranged for almost 15 years.
The opposition had used this as a campaign weapon before now, and Momodu believes that they have now been silenced.
Momodu tweeted: “I am excited that those who used America as criteria for qualification to Nigeria’s Presidency, are now singing a different tune.
“ATIKU on my mind… International diplomacy is different from local championship… When God has blessed you, please do not block others.”
Meanwhile, sources said that Atiku may likely have a closed-door meeting with President Donald Trump’s camp, ahead of 2019.
