Poignant final message of Marvel Comics creator before he passed away at 95

Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee passed away on Monday at Cedars- Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

The 95-year-old legend’s last message before his death was a tweet paying tribute to his fellow veterans. Stan Lee was a veteran of the second world war.

The last post from the Marvel Comics creator’s official Twitter account was posted just hours before he died.

A tweet posted on Stan’s behalf read: “Thank you to all of America’s veterans for your service. Fun fact: Stan’s official US Army title during WW2 was ‘Playwright.’ #VeteransDay”

Alongside the tweet was a black and white picture of Stan in his army uniform.
